Ava Leifi

If you're getting tired of hearing about Ava - then too bad! 'Cuz you'll be hearing a lot about him. He is such a sweet man! He told me that he feels Megan and James are having a "hard time" dealing with my time being split between him and other things. So, this past Friday he decided to take me, Megan, James and his cousin, Bell, out to eat and then to the movies.

Sweet, sweet, sweet man! I wuvs him!

Temper Tantrums, If That's What It Can Be Called

The days with Ava seem to melt together, so I really couldn't tell you when this happened? Friday? ...I think.

Anyway, I was to pick him up between 2 and 2:30pm and bring him to my house so he could do some yard work (which IF he lets me help, doesn't let me "help" at all really - but that's another post). We were only waiting on a man to come from the Relay for Life pick up some food that the restaurant had catered. He was to have been there at 2pm...what time did he come?! 3:38pm! I'm ok with waiting - unless I have something scheduled to do, and let's face it, 98.99% of the time, I don't.

Ava - I of course already know how stinkin' precious he is - was a tad upset...and he was more precious than ever! Like fer reelz! He did look genuinely perterbed, though. Plus, he was saying things like, "If he said he was going to be here at 2, he should be here at 2. 2:01 is fine! 2:02 is fine! But if its 2:03, you're late! Stupid, stupid, stupid!" He apologized profusely, (???), and continued to tell me how he'd rather be an hour early than a minute late. We are so on the same wave length, this man and me!

But what can you do, huh? All I could do was think that if this is his mad - I'm so blessed to have a soft-spoken, patient man.

I just told him to say a prayer and he'd be ok. I tried to distract him by talking to him about his kids and our "plans to make our dreams come true." (Something he talks to me about constantly.) I'm not complaining... I love hearing those things... I love him so much... I love Heavenly Father so much for blessing me with him... Wow! :')

On the 7th Day

If there is one place I could spend time with my fatu suamalie, that would be at church. There isn't a better feeling than to sit next to my future husband, with our scriptures open, holding hands, listening to the Sunday School lesson together.

I'm so thankful for the righteous man that he is. The focus he has on our spiritual goals, as well as our temperal goals. The eternal perspective we share. The prayers we share and the time we spend together serving our family.

Its The Little Things

The Beetles were so right!

"All you need is love!" I've had this idea for like 15 years to do this for the guy I would be dating in the future... To "heart attack" his door from time to time with love notes - for EVERYONE to see! I did this little thing this morning and with the help from my accomplice, Megan, got this put on his door while he was at work. He should be home by 2:45 if he doesn't have to work til 6:30. I'll let you know what he says.
