Flippin' Virtues!

I have been an emotional wreck today. This morning I was feeling great! Had talked to Ava first thing, had read about four chapters from the scriptures, had said multiple prayers...then a sweet conversation with a member of my family kicked that horse square in the face.

Now, I'm back on the bottom.

I'm so ready to move Ava's and my relationship further, but issues hold us back. Issues that... yeah, hold us back (for now)! What is Heavenly Father trying to teach me here? Oh! Patience, maybe? Like ten years wasn't enough? I'm sorry... just having a "day" here and simply need to vent!

IOBs

I call this meeting to order. Alright people, we have a lot to catch up on... like -

Last Friday we had to wonderful privelage to have the missionaries over for dinner and were able to have the Mission President, his wife, and his mother, as well over! WOW!!! No pressure to please or impress, right?! Really? No! None! Seriously... They are the freakin'-est coolest folks ever! And I LOOOOOOOOVE his mom!

Only because I tried to push the 80-something year old woman over when she "wouldn't" scoot down the table bench when there wasn't enough room for me to sit by my Ava... Sorry, Sister Crawford! Here my side of the story (and I'm stickin' to it) - I put my hand on her shoulder to ask her if she would mind moving over one more place so Ava could slide in next to me, when out of the blue Mr. James comes from behind me, grabs my other hand and proceeds to tell me he has to sit next to me and I loose my balance and gently "nudge" the poor woman! Sorry... Again...

The evening was amazing, though! The Spirit was so strong as the Sister's gave James a discussion on the Gospel and repentance.

My 29th birthday was yesterday! EEEK! I know, I know (the the older peeps, it isn't that bad!) And it really isn't! Ava got me a card (and some dinero) and he apologized that he didn't get me anything besides that. I told him I didn't need to the money or the card - I got what I wanted and that was to spend the evening with him. ...Oh, and my family, too! ;)

Angel and Heber came with Jace and there the missionaries shared another short lesson with James and he commited to be baptized on the 23rd on this month!! So thankful for him and the strong spirit he's brought into my home these past few weeks. I pray he will continue on this righteous path - for his happiness.
